Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is a method aiming to investigate mental processes that are considered as inaccessible by other means. Psychoanalysis is also a therapeutic method for neurotic disorders. As a therapeutic technique, psychoanalysis is considered different from psychiatry and psychotherapy in general, since it is based on the existence of a psychic unconscious , and emphasizes the integration of the contents of unconscious as a therapeutic procedure.
