Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a psychiatrist who founded the school of Analytical Psychology.
Like Freud, Jung believed in the existence of the unconscious. Yet, according to Jung, dreams are to be considered as a way of communicating and acquainting ourselves with the unconscious and not as attempts to conceal our true feelings from the waking mind.
