Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt (1832-1920) Wilhelm Wundt conducted experiments that showed how experience could be broke down into elements of sensation
is known to posterity as the âfather of experimental psychologyâ and the founder of the first psychology laboratory. From there, Wundt exerted enormous influence on the development of psychology as a discipline, especially in the United States.
Wilhelm Wundt was a student of Helmholtz, who is considered one of the founders of experimental psychology.
